Criminal justice
Supporting a fair, efficient and accountable justice system that upholds the rule of law and protects human rights for all
The Mission works with justice and law enforcement institutions to strengthen the rule of law, enhance investigations and prosecutions, and ensure fair, efficient and human rights-compliant criminal justice processes.

Fostering transparency, accountability and ethical leadership to strengthen public institutions and ensure governance serves citizens with fairness
The Mission supports stronger integrity, transparency and accountable governance by helping institutions prevent corruption, improve public oversight and uphold democratic standards in service of all citizens.

Fundamental rights and social cohesion

The Mission strengthens human rights protection, promotes equality and inclusion, and fosters trust among North Macedonia’s diverse communities through dialogue, outreach and support to responsive institutions.

Gender equality
Advancing equality between women and men, empowering women’s leadership and building gender-responsive institutions and services
The Mission advances gender equality by supporting gender-responsive laws and institutions, preventing gender-based violence, and promoting the leadership and participation of women across public life.

The Mission empowers young people to participate in decision-making, strengthen community resilience and contribute to inclusive, democratic and safe environments across the country.
