The OSCE Mission to Skopje and the French Embassy organized a study trip to Paris for officers of the Interior Ministry’s Special Units Department from 7 to 9 October 2013.
Three high-ranking officers visited special units of the French National Police and the Gendarmerie to gain insights for the preparation of new standard operating procedures for the Special Units Department.
By giving advice and organizing specialized courses such as this, the OSCE works to increase the capacity of the Special Units Department to fight transnational threats, especially terrorism.
