As part of the efforts to establish a functional school mediation system, the OSCE Mission to Skopje and the NGONGO
non-governmental organization Forum Civil Peace Service (forumZFD), are organizing an advanced course on mediation in schools in Struga from 28 May to 1 June 2014.
During the five day course, some 30 high school teachers, pedagogues, and other professional staff from education institutions in Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Kicevo, Struga and Prilep will be trained on how to better mediate in conflict prevention and foster positive interactions between students, teachers and school staff from different ethnic groups.
The activity is part of the OSCE’s “Mediation for Change” project, funded by the Swiss Embassy in Skopje.
