A joint exercise between the border police, customs and traffic department will take place in one of the highways in the country, where following the rules of Integrated Border Management, the police offficers will conduct vehicles and personal checks.
The aim of the exercise is to detect illegal cross border activity and learn in real circumstances how to conduct different activities among different partners, how to act, and how to communicate successfully.
The project started with a five-days training course in Hungary in April this year, where the members of the Border Police Unit were trained on how to better detect and supress unauthorized and illegal cross-border crossings and cross-border crimes.
