About
The conference is designed to assist local authorities and civil society organizations in establishing mechanisms for combatting hate crime, providing them with best-practice examples for offering meaningful victim support services, as well as presenting the way in which the level of hate crime underreporting can be assessed.
It also aims at raising awareness on the impact of hate-motivated violence on victims, as well to discuss what regional criminal justice agencies should be doing to support victims of hate crime, and to assess the possible impact of hate crime survey evidence in the countries of the region.
