About
The OSCE Mission to Skopje, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA), will deliver a workshop for police officers on the treatment of victims of crime.
During the workshop, the MoIA officials will present a guidebook on providing necessary care and support to victims. The guidebook, which has been developed with the support of the Mission, includes comprehensive information on the rights of victims and the obligations of the police in their treatment. Local and international experts will present the legal provisions regulating the treatment of victims, communication with and support for victims.
The aim of this activity is to raise awareness among police professionals on how to pay appropriate attention to victims of crime and to better protect their rights. This activity will be further cascaded into the respective organizational units.
