Implementation of the action plan for improving the situation of Roma and Sinti within the OSCE area

This second report on the situation regarding the implementation of the Action Plan for improving the situation of Roma and Sinti within the OSCE area has been prepared 21 years after the adoption of the Action Plan. The report covers issues concerning the Roma community in the period from 2011 to 2024. The assessment of the level of implementation of the OSCE Action Plan covers areas including discrimination, legislation and law enforcement, the socio-economic situation in the Roma community including housing, employment, and healthcare and issues related to education, as well as conditions in the political system and the development of political life within the Roma community. The conclusions and recommendations of this report are intended to serve the competent institutions and political factors, as well as other relevant stakeholders, in creating further policies and measures for inclusion and integration that will contribute to improving the situation of the Roma community in the Republic of North Macedonia.
