About
The OSCE Mission to Skopje in cooperation with the Hungarian Embassy is organizing a five-day training on interception and managing of large groups of persons crossing the country’s green border illegally. The training which will take place from 25 April to 29 April in Skopje will be delivered by trainers from the Police Academy of Szeged, Hungary and it will target 20 Border Police officers.
The training is aimed at further enhancing the Police Officers’ skills to effectively tackle irregular border crossings while respecting the fundamental human rights. It will also strengthen the Border Police capacities to manage crowds and to identify criminal activities, including trafficking in human beings and smuggling of weapons and people.
