About
During an OSCE-supported two-day International Conference on Management and Negotiations in Crisis Situations taking place in Ohrid, representatives from Interior Ministries and academics from various countries will come together to discuss views on the importance of the management and negotiations in dealing with crisis situations caused by terrorist acts.
The event will enhance the capacities of regional security structures in solving and dealing with crisis situations.
The conference is preceded by specialized training for some 30 first responding officers in crisis negotiations, which is being delivered by negotiators from the Special Tasks Unit from 5 to 11 September 2016.
