The OSCE Mission to Skopje assisted the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA) in conducting a roundtable discussion for police officials to discuss establishing effective mechanisms to enhance a victim-oriented approach to criminal investigations.
During the roundtable discussion, the MoIA officials presented a poster on the rights of crime victims which had been developed with the support of the Mission. The poster, which includes comprehensive information on the victims’ rights and the role of the police in providing care for them, will be displayed in all police stations and police units throughout the country.
This activity aims at raising the awareness of citizens and law enforcement agencies on victims’ rights.
