OSCE Mission to Skopje calls for peaceful political dialogue

SKOPJE, 25 December 2012 – The Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje, Ambassador Natalya Drozd, called today on all stakeholders, including parliamentarians, their respective political parties and the public at large to refrain from all violence and instead to utilize the legal means available in the country for a peaceful resolution of current political disagreements.

“The OSCE Mission appealed to all parties to respect Parliament’s function as a venue for peaceful political discourse, and to refrain from violence. It is also critical that the right of journalists to perform their professional duties be respected,” said Ambassador Drozd.
