The OSCE Mission to Skopje supported a discussion on 6 March 2013 on party-political and inter-ethnic issues in the media coverage ahead of the 24 March local elections. The event was organized in co-operation with the School of Journalism and Public Relations and the Dutch Embassy.
The School of Journalism presented initial findings from its monitoring of professional and ethical standards in the media, particularly in view of recent party-political and inter-ethnic tensions. Editors, journalists, and representatives of state and public institutions, NGOs and the international community took part in the debate.
